Take me home where memory wanders
Through the land where I belong;
Take me where the heather's blooming
And where hearts resound in song.

Take me where the sea is raging
By old Scotland's mighty shores,
Take me where the Lochs are silent
And the shadows kiss the moors.

Take me to the land of sadness
Also to the land of joy;
Take me where the eagle's soaring
High above the shores of Croy.

Take me where the hills are burning
Far beyond Kilhenzie Glen;
Take me back to days of childhood,
Then I'll know I'm home again.
