All these young men are from Maybole. My mother always referred to the young men as The Drumsmudden Boys. I have no idea what this means. Standing left to right are.- Not known, Jock Robertson (worked for Kerr the builder as a plasterer), Bill White (my Dad who worked in the Boot and Shoe Factories), and John McColm (brother of Arthur McColm). Seated. I am only sure of the one on the right, Wullie Paton. I think there are Milligans and McMillands. If anyone could name any of the group I would be deeply grateful.
