Red Nose Day 2007

Red Nose Day took place at Carrick on the 30th of March. Some of the activities that people took part in to raise money included Miss Carrick, in which some S6 boys dressed as girls to take part in a beauty pageant. Some other activities included The Easter Service and Pillow Fights in the games hall. At break and lunch there was red food served and also Movies were played in the Assembly Room. The money raised from all the activities was £311.   Well done to all who helped raise this sum.

Recent rugby results

The S2 team played extremely well against Auchenharvie recently with the score being Carrick 24-12 Auchenharvie. The scorers were Stephen Paton, Roddy Paterson (5 Tries), Blair Jardine and John Dewar. Well done to every one who played and keep up these brilliant results.

The Carrick 1st team played against Kyle recently and the score was an excellent 41 – 12 to Carrick. The scorers were Ross Fergusson, Eion Blackwood, Scott Alexander, William Morgan, Jason McKay, Fraser Thomson, Robert Sykes, Colin Sturgeon (3 Con). These fantastic results meant that Carrick jumped above Kyle in the league so a huge well done to them. Keep it up boys!
