Fundraisers at St Cuthbert's Primary in Maybole always put the emphasis on FUN! And a sale of work was their latest happy event. Pupils joined parents, teachers and friends to organise an event which netted an excellent £772 for the school. And you can see why people turned out for a "hardy annual" social occasion that had so much to offer. There was a super range of stalls, as well as entertaining games and tasty treats. And the school thanked everyone who supported the magnificent effort. Click on the images to view them.

Sticky and tricky: Look what I've found, says Aidan McQuillan, but he waited patiently for the sale to open to buy his toffee apple All smiles:pupils at the book stall ready to make a volume of sales Hair braiding: Always a fashionable accessory, and here, Linda Campbell at work on Ashley keegan, while Natasha Green waits her turn
Human fruit machine: Gillian Thomson, Alice May Morris, and Alice Mackie having both a novel idea and a winning combination Prizes galore: all kinds of bottles, some willing assistants, and even a mascot cuddly toy: what more could you want from a tombola stall
Home baking: pupils ready for a rush of customers, just about to come their way Can you take them at face value?: they look reasonably fiendly, and anyway, face painting is always a popular attraction at such events
