Ayrshire Births

We've all been appreciative of the work of many listers in transcribing information from LDS films and other sources for everyone to access. With the help of the Ayrshire mailing list archives, I've compiled a spreadsheet of the birth data which listers have transcribed through the list over the last 8 months or so, from LDS films they have loaned. Note that the information I've included is only where generic information has been provided - such as a particular year or place, I haven't included items where one specific family name was listed.

The end result is a database of about 200 births around Ayrshire with dates (from 1700s through to 1860), parents details and other misc information which may be of use to many of you.  I hope many of you find it helpful. I'll continue to maintain these lists as more information is circulated on the list and send out regular updates to everyone. To download the excel version of this database click here.

I'm now working on the DEATH and MARRIAGE information and will advise when it's available. Thanks to those of you who have provided the inspiration for these databases and did all the hard work of typing the lists.

Regards Joanne Sydney
