FIRST GENERATION

 

1.  Thomas EAGLESHAM was born about 1782.   He died on October 6, 1869 in Dunduff Cottage, Maybole, Ayrshire.1   He was a Farm Overseer.  Monumental Inscription at Kirkbride Churchyard -

 Erected by THOMAS EAGLESHAM overseer to the Messrs Ralston for 50 years in

memory of JANET BROWN his wife and bosom friend for half a century who died

30 December 1856 aged 74.

 

He was married to Janet BROWN (daughter of William BROWN and Margaret NIVEN) on December 7, 1806 in Parish of Kirkcolm, Wigtownshire. 2  Janet BROWN was born about 1782.   She died on December 28, 1856 in Dunduff, Maybole, Ayrshire.3  Thomas EAGLESHAM and Janet BROWN had the following children:

 

            +2              i.    William EAGLESHAM .

              3             ii.    Thomas EAGLESHAM was baptized on June 9, 1822 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 4

 

SECOND GENERATION

 

 2.  William EAGLESHAM (Thomas-1) was baptized on July 23, 1809 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 5  He was a Grocer.

 

He was married to Elison McNIDER on February 16, 1836 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 6  Elison McNIDER was born about 1812.   William EAGLESHAM and Elison McNIDER had the following children:

 

              4              i.    Janet Brown EAGLESHAM was born on November 9, 1836 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 7

            +5             ii.    Agnes EAGLESHAM (born on November 21, 1839).

              6            iii.    Mary EAGLESHAM was born on October 23, 1840 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 8

              7           iv.    Thomas EAGLESHAM was born on August 23, 1842 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.9

              8            v.    Elison EAGLESHAM was born on June 7, 1844 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 10

              9           vi.    Anne EAGLESHAM was baptized on August 27, 1846 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.11

            10          vii.    William McNider EAGLESHAM was born on May 12, 1850 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.12

            11         viii.    John McNider EAGLESHAM was born on December 19, 1857 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire.

 

THIRD GENERATION

 

5.   Agnes EAGLESHAM (William-2, Thomas-1) was born on November 21, 1839 in Parish of Maybole, Ayrshire. 13  She died on May 1, 1889.  She was buried in Kirkbride Churchyard #3.

 

She was married to Adam Hall McCRINDLE (son of Andrew McCRINDLE and Agnes ANDREW(S)) on September 12, 1862 in Dunure, Maybole, Ayrshire.14   Adam Hall McCRINDLE was born about 1839 in Dunure, Ayrshire.   He was a G&SW R'way Goods Checker.  Monumental Inscription at Kirkbride Churchyard -

 Erected by ADAM H. McCRINDLE in loving memory of his wife AGNES EAGLESHAM who

 died 1 May 1889 aged 49.  Agnes EAGLESHAM and Adam Hall McCRINDLE had the following children:

 

            12              i.    William McCRINDLE was born about 1864 in Dunure, Ayrshire.  He was an App. Joiner (1881).

            13             ii.    Andrew McCRINDLE was born on April 11, 1867 in Newton, Ayr, Ayrshire.   He was a Parcel Deliverer (1881).

            14            iii.    Elison McNider McCRINDLE was born on March 26, 1872 in Newton, Ayr, Ayrshire.

            15           iv.    Adam Hall McCRINDLE was born on February 14, 1875 in Newton, Ayr, Ayrshire.
