1723, January 8
It does not appear in the minute in whose place Paterson was
admitted; indeed there does not seem to have been any vacancy.

1724, May 14
The reason for purging Smith is by the Minute attributed to
their ordinary custom to change two yearly and therefore they think proper to change one this year.

1724, December 30
Note. Paterson’s admission is now explained by the expulsion of
McMurtrie. The previous notice of his election must have been an error in the record.

1726, December 31

mentioned.

1743, October 18
It does not appear that any person was nominated to supply
the vacancy occasioned by Campbell being put out.

1743, October 22
Note. Fletcher was voted in place of William on 30 December 1724

1770, October
It is not said in whose place these Gentlemen were appointed.
Their nomination seems to be a post facto being in different ink altho the same hand. Probably over a Glass.

of Claud Hamilton deceased. See minute of that date.

In regard that the Council is not full but the Minute does not
mention the number awaiting or the names.

and thereby a vacancy of Councillors.

1792, March 19
