The Ayrshire Cross Country Championships held at the Magnum in Irvine proved to be a very successful one for Carrick Academy. Congratulations to Colin Sturgeon of 5R1 who won the senior boys’ race, beating competitors from a range of schools in Ayrshire. Congratulations to everyone who competed and finished the race.

Rehearsals for the school show are on Monday’s and Thursday’s at lunchtime.  This year production is Scrooge.

Luv Esther!

“Luv Esther” is a new musical that has just finished a successful run in London’s West End and it is a similar idea to “Joseph and Jesus Christ Superstar”. Tickets are £10 and is open to all staff and pupils. It will take place on Wednesday 8th November at Ayr Citadel.

Girls Rugby

Every Tuesday from 3.30 to 4.30, 29 girls from S2 to S6 are taking part in Carrick’s new girls rugby team organised by Miss Ritchie.
