Davie Law of Maybole was contacted by Rowena Love asking for permission to use one or two of his pictures of Ailsa Craig, which she had seen on the Maybole web site for use in an article she was writing about the island. Davie agreed and Rowena's article has now been published in the 2005 September/October issue of  the Scottish Island Explorer magazine.  Davie's photographs of the island have also been featured in Scottish Curler Magazine and the BBC Radio Today programme site The Great Puffin Revival.
